The British High Commission, Dhaka is seeking an Events Coordinator for the Residence. The incumbent will act as Events Coordinator for the High Commissioner`s Residence, ensuring that official events at the Residence and visits are run professionally and efficiently. The candidate will organize invitations, RSVPs, produce guest lists, table cards, menus and table plans in advance of events at the Residence. S/he will be responsible for developing a strong set of contacts and relationships, both with the hospitality industry, event equipment hire companies and organisations wishing to hold events within the Embassy. S/he will write correspondence, including all external correspondence relating to events, as well as some in-house correspondence to include invoices, contracts of terms and conditions and event guidelines. The successful candidate shall manage Residence Entertainment budget as well.
